Rachel Vandette brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in bodywork and massage, combining clinical precision with a deeply rooted commitment to helping people feel and function better in their daily lives.

A graduate of Wellington College in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Rachel completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy in 2009 and went on to spend 17 years working as a Registered Massage Therapist in Manitoba.

She holds certifications in CPR, First Aid, Aromatherapy, Cupping Therapy, Prenatal Massage, and Lymphatic Integration. She is currently advancing her training in Hot Stone Massage and working toward full registration as a Registered Massage Therapist in Ontario.

Rachel’s approach is clinical and focused on results. She specializes in deep tissue and therapeutic treatment designed to resolve chronic pain, improve mobility, and reduce stress-related tension.

Every session is tailored to the individual—no routines, no guesswork—just targeted treatment based on what your body needs.

Clients often describe her work as effective and honest. Treatments can be intensive, especially when addressing long-standing issues, but the outcome is what matters: improved movement, reduced pain, and lasting relief.

It’s common to feel mild soreness immediately after treatment, followed by noticeable improvement within 24 hours. With consistent care, many clients report feeling “like a million bucks.”

Rachel operates with a strong commitment to education, transparency, honesty, and client safety. Every treatment is delivered in a professional, comfortable environment where real progress can happen.

Now based in Rainy River, Ontario, Rachel is the founder of True North Massage. After relocating to build a life and family with her boyfriend, she recognized a clear need for high-quality, results-focused bodywork in the community.

True North Massage was built to fill that gap—providing reliable, effective care while staying grounded in the values of hard work, integrity, and Northern pride.

Rachel’s mission is simple: help people move better, feel better, and live with less pain.

Your treatment with Rachel is focused, intentional, and built entirely around your body’s specific needs.

Every session begins with a brief discussion of what you’re experiencing—pain points, mobility limitations, or areas of tension. Rachel takes the time to understand what’s going on so the treatment is targeted and effective from the start.

Rachel specializes in deep tissue and therapeutic work, meaning your session is designed to address the root of the issue—not just provide temporary relief. Techniques may include deep tissue manipulation, aromatherapy, cupping, or other modalities depending on what your body requires.

Rachel believes in transparency. If something needs attention, she’ll tell you. If a certain approach will get better results, she’ll explain why. You’ll always know what’s being done and how it’s helping.

Because treatments are results-focused, some areas may feel intense—especially when working through chronic tension or restricted tissue. Rachel works within your tolerance and communicates throughout to ensure you remain comfortable and safe.

It’s normal to experience mild soreness immediately after treatment—especially with deep tissue work. Within 24 hours, most clients notice improved mobility, reduced tension, and a significant decrease in pain.

With consistent care, clients often experience lasting improvements in how their body moves and feels. Many report feeling significantly better overall—more mobile, less restricted, and better equipped to handle daily physical stress.
